Air Algérie (Arabic: الخطوط الجوية الجزائرية) is the national airline of Algeria. Founded in 1947, it is headquartered in Algiers, with the IATA code AH, and operates its hub at Houari Boumediene Airport. As the third-largest airline in Africa (after South African Airways and EgyptAir), it handles more than 7.5 million passengers annually.
